Ronald McDonald House

Savannah’s Ronald McDonald House is a “home away from home” for families with critically ill or injured children receiving treatment at area hospitals. On the first Monday of every month, our volunteers take ingredients to the house, and a team of two or three prepares the meal on-site for the residents. 

America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia

Second Harvest works to feed the hungry by distributing nutritious food to non-profit agencies and at-risk elderly and youth. Once a month, our volunteers go to the warehouse on President Street to assist with packing food boxes to be distributed later. The congregation also hosts a monthly food drive, collecting a particular designated food for the Second Harvest food bank. 

Coastal Georgia Comprehensive Academy

CGCA is a special education school whose focus is to educate students with severe emotional/behavioral disorders, as well as students with moderate to severe autism. They serve students ranging from pre-kindergarten through high school. Our church supports and assists the students and families of CGCA by providing gifts at Christmas, Thanksgiving food baskets, personal cleaning supplies, household items, school supplies, school uniforms, and financial assistance to those families who may be struggling. We also support the teachers and staff through appreciation meals and gifts. 

Plarning

Plarning is a ministry that creates sleeping mats and pillows by knitting or crocheting plastic shopping bags. The mats are donated to our community's homeless, providing a waterproof barrier for sleeping on the ground.
