Our Eucharistic ministers bring Holy Communion to those who are unable to attend worship. Going in pairs, communion is delivered to people in their homes, hospitals and/or assisted living. A brief training session is a part of orientation, followed by shadowing an experienced eucharistic minister on a visit.
What else to expect? A written guide is provided as a visit help tool. In addition to communion, it is common to pray with the person as a part of your time together.
How often do most ministers volunteer? Most do one or two visits a month, most commonly Sundays after worship.
If you have an interest in supporting this very special outreach, Pastor Jason is the one to call.
