Your computer and your tablet enables the viewing of two or more different tabs by toggling back and forth (by clicking one and then the other.) On our website, all links are underlined… just LEFT CLICK the mouse two times quickly and that link will open in a new tab. The tab looks like a file folder tab along the top bar of your computer. If you haven’t yet opened the links, Left click on the MLC Corona Tab at the top, and scroll down to click on Bulletin Link, which will open in a new window. Then go back to the MCLConrona tab left Click it again and scroll to the Join us For Worship – recorded tab. Now you have 4 tabs or windows open… they are stacked next to each other…. the MCL tab, TIP tab, Bulletin tab and the Worship tab.
Now that you have the tabs open, they appear at the top of the screen display. Just click on the one you want to view and then
If you’re struggling call me– Peggy my number is in this week’s Messiah Minute.
FYI, you can put the cursor over any of the tabs on the top bar and then LEFT click once, to make them display on your screen . For an example, you are on the website now, this tip is in a new internal tab. You can return to the main page, by simply left clicking the the tab/ file folder name on the top bar. It will open up the screen you selected– this is called toggling, back and forth.
If the link is taking you to another page within the website, you can always click the Messiah Logo at the top of the page and it will navigate you back to the home page. Hint, if the tab of the file has Messiah in it, it probably in an internal link. As you have guessed by now, there are Internal and External links throughout our web pages. The recorded Join us for Worship and Bulletin are examples of external links.
To completely close out one tab, click the X in the right hand corner of the individual tab at the top of of your computer.
To close out all tabs, click the big X in the computer’s upper right hand corner.
To open multiple tabs when you aren’t on our website, hit the + sign in the top tool bar before searching on google etc.
Lastly, it’s never too late to learn. I recall how I couldn’t control the mouse when I had my first computer! Hope these tips helped in some small way!
